We decided back in 2007 when we started breeding our Golden Retrievers that we would re-home our retired dogs. We decided that long before we purchased Kati or any other of our Goldens. We knew it was best for them and for our program to do so. If we kept every adult we retired then we would not have enough time to spend with our pups and our current adults. We also know that going to a home with no dogs or a couple of dogs is better for them in the long run.

Kati is a very sweet and gentle girl. She’s perfectly healthy with absolutely zero known health problems. She is the most loving of all our Goldens. She is calm, submissive and wonderfully affectionate. She is willing to spend hours just cuddling with you on a couch. Kati has OFA “Good” hips (GR-101920G30F-VPI) and the OFA Normal elbows (GR-EL23476F30-VPI). She also has been checked by an ophthalmologist and a veterinarian and has been cleared with the OFA for her heart (GR-CA17541/21F/P-VPI) and the OFA/CERF (Canine Eye Registration Foundation) with her eyes (GR-42906/2010–3).Kati has been DNA Profiled by the AKC. She is dual registered with the KSS (Serbian Kennel Club) and the AKC.

She has her hips, elbow, eye and heart clearances and we hope that she will live 13+ years. She’s a very mature and calm girl. She rarely does anything wrong. She’s a larger female weighing in around 70 lbs. She’s up to date on all of her shots including rabies, kennel cough, yearly shots and is treated monthly for fleas/ticks with k9 Advantix II and ivermectin (Heartguard) for heartworms. She is by far Charity Hamka’s favorite Golden we have ever owned because she’s such a snuggler and so sweet. For the last several nights, Kati has slept in our bed and she doesn’t move all night and just cuddles next to Charity. She doesn’t MOVE an inch all night. It’s quite amazing I think. She LOVES to play fetch. In fact, she is the undisputed undefeated fetcher in our kennel history. She goes after anything you through with intensity and she would play for hours. She’s gone swimming many times and is our fastest swimmer. She does sometimes whine when she’s in the water but she does swim. She is fully potty trained and unless she has diarrhea she will not potty inside. She’s gentle and not aggressive with any dogs and I’m very confident she would get along well with your Kati pup.
